What does your role involve?
It’s a really varied role, no two days are the same! My tasks include replying to emails, data entry, processing sales invoices, expenses and purchase ledgers, getting the sales paperwork in order and the system updated, ordering uniforms and so on. It’s a very reactive role so I’m always ready to take on whatever task needs doing!
What are the most rewarding and challenging elements of your role?
It’s nice to have a variety of tasks to do everyday and it’s rewarding to know that I’m contributing to the business running in an organised and efficient way.
Sometimes it can be tough trying to prioritise my workload and juggle all the different tasks, but when it all comes together it’s worth it!
What’s the best thing about caravanning?
The freedom it gives you. You can decide to take off on a trip at the drop of a hat and everything is there ready to go. It’s also great for families as it provides affordable, child-friendly holidays with lots of things to entertain them in the fresh air!
What do you like most about your job?
I like the fact that what I do enables the rest of the sales team to focus on the customers’ needs while I’m in the background taking care of all the paperwork and details, ensuring a smooth and complete service is delivered every time.
What opportunities have been offered to you during your time here?
I’ve had lots of training over the years; when I first started, I had to type up each and every invoice, but as technology has developed over the years, the systems and processes have too and I’ve moved along with them. Things are certainly quicker now! This has also given me the chance to be more involved with the accountancy side of the business.
I appreciate the fact that the company was very supportive of me when I requested part-time working hours after starting a family. They are very considerate and do all they can to ensure you are happy in your job.

It’s a great place to work; everyone is so friendly and welcoming. As a family-run company, everyone is made to feel valued individually - it’s always nice to come into work and be part of this fantastic team!
