Winchester Caravans and Motorhomes are now pleased to be offering motorhome servicing from our well-equipped, NCC-approved workshop. Our experienced and qualified fitters will work on the motorhomes to ensure an exceptional job is done every time.

The addition of this service means that alongside motorhome sales, which kicked off in January, we can be a one-stop-shop for all your motorhome needs. We are growing our stock of quality, low-mileage, pre-owned motorhomes and can now service them too!

Our Motorhome Habitation service incorporates work on all functioning parts of your motorhome’s habitation. Some of the components that we inspect, test and lubricate during an annual service include the 240v/12v electrical systems and appliances, water systems and appliances, gas systems and appliances, a full carbon monoxide test, tyre and wheel checks and a moisture test.

Our fitters are all qualified to NCC award level, which means that they are able to carry out the habitation check in line with the manufacturer's warranty stipulations. The cost of the Motorhome Habitation Service is £200 inc VAT and the VW Camper Habitation Service is £150 inc VAT.

The fact that we are NCC-approved gives you complete peace of mind that all the work we do will be completed to an extremely high standard. The scheme is so sure of its standards that they guarantee all repairs for a minimum of six months.

Along with the requirements for technicians, the NCC scheme requires each workshop to also meet high standards of competency and must comply with an industry Code of Practice. This means that all Approved Workshops will abide by a list of rules, which include: displaying a detailed list of prices and labor rates, provide an estimate for any additional servicing or repair work over £150, give a realistic estimated time for completion and collection, use genuine spare parts where available, always provide you with a checklist of work done and not start work without your consent.

To remain compliant with the NCC scheme, workshops must undergo an annual inspection by a team of independent assessors and must comply with rigorous standards.
