COVID update: what happens after 19 July?

Although most of the COVID rules will end on Monday 19 July 2021, we’ll be keeping some measures in place on our premises to ensure the continual safety of our customers and staff and so that everyone feels comfortable as we adjust back to ‘normal’ living.
With infection rates on the rise again, we feel it is important to remain vigilant so we plan to retain some measures and make others optional whilst the vaccination programme continues to be rolled out.
WHAT’S CHANGING?

The wearing of masks will no longer be compulsory, it will now be optional, depending on what you feel comfortable with. Some members of staff plan to keep wearing them for the time being so it will be up to individuals as to whether they choose to wear one or not.

Wearing gloves inside the vehicles will no longer be required.
WHAT’S STAYING THE SAME?

Social distancing practices will stay in place and the 2m floor markings and signage will also remain to provide customers and visitors with guidance of what’s expected.

Staff and customers will still be encouraged to use sanitiser when entering the site.

Protective screens around till points and service desks will be kept in place for now.

We will continue utilising video showthroughs for vehicle handovers.

Workshop services will continue to be contact-free.
ONSITE SHOP
We rearranged our shop during the winter lockdown period to make it even more accessible and well-laid out for customers’ ease of use and to make maintaining social distancing easier. The till area’s divider screens will be retained to continue to protect staff and customers whilst purchases are completed. We’ll also continue to encourage card payments - particularly contactless - and will maintain the higher £45 limit to make this possible on more occasions.
We continually evaluate our product ranges to ensure we’re offering you the best caravan, camping and motorhome accessories on the market. Pop in for a browse to see what we’ve got - everything from homeware and camping furniture to TVs and BBQs. Please keep in mind that we have an online shop and can also take orders over the phone if you prefer to shop from home. Our contact-free, click and collect pick-up service from our car park makes receiving your items safe and easy!
CONTACT-FREE SERVICING AND REPAIRS
We’re continuing our contact-free workshop service for the time being, so the existing safety procedures for dropping off and collecting your caravan/motorhome will remain as they are. We will explain these fully over the phone when we call to schedule / confirm your appointment so rest assured that you’ll know what to expect on the day.
COLLECTING YOUR CARAVAN
When it comes to sales handovers of vehicles from ourselves to the customer, we will give each and every caravan/motorhome a full valet, which will include full sanitisation of all surfaces, lockers, doors and handles. We will contact you by phone prior to the scheduled handover date to discuss the procedure. We encourage the use of bank transfer or payment over the phone to keep physical contact to a minimum.
The preferred option for collection would be via instructional videos, sent beforehand in an email link and possibly followed up with a video call as well. We are also happy to arrange delivery if required, again with instructional videos sent beforehand. Alternatively, customers will be given the option to collect without a handover and return later for a full working demonstration.
