The new 2022 Bailey Unicorn range launched in July and now as the new season starts to take off, it's attracting a lot of interest! Bailey of Bristol hosted a rooftop reception to celebrate the new range and even craned a Unicorn Vigo to the top of One New Change to act as a stunning centrepiece for the event!

Winchester Caravans and Motorhomes Managing Director James Southwood and Sales Manager James Mainwaring attended the event, which took place on Wednesday 29 September. The event provided guests with the opportunity to learn more about the Unicorn range and take a look inside the four-berth Vigo model, all whilst enjoying a great view of St Paul’s Cathedral by night.

The event was attended by industry professionals, athletes and celebrities alike. Some lucky guests were even offered the chance to stay overnight in the caravan to sample the caravanning lifestyle for themselves.

The event was also the perfect chance to celebrate the boom that caravanning and motorhoming has seen in the past 18 months since the onset of the pandemic. Many holidaymakers have opted to staycation during the past two years, with caravans and motorhomes offering the ideal set-up for social distancing as they are completely self-contained. 

The increased demand for staycations led to a rise in caravan and motorhome sales, making it an extremely busy year for dealerships across the country. 

The new Unicorn range is packed with new features but still offers the perfect combination of practicality and luxury. The new range boasts 7 models; the two-berth Seville and 6 four-berth options - the Madrid, Cadiz, Vigo, Cabrera, Cartagena and Pamplona. 

The Seville’s front lounge converts into a double bed for sleeping, with a mid kitchen and end washroom. The Madrid’s front lounge also converts into a double bed for sleeping, with a mid diner that converts into bunk beds and an end washroom. The Cadiz’s lounge seating converts into a double bed and it also has two fixed singles further back in the van. The kitchen separates the two sleeping areas and the washroom is again at the rear.

The Vigo and Cartagena are very similar in layout as they both have front lounges that convert into doubles for bedtime, fixed transverse island beds further back, with the kitchen between the two sleeping areas and the washroom at the back. The Cabrera and Pamplona have similar layouts too - front lounges that convert into doubles for sleeping, fixed transverse island beds at the very rear of the van, with the kitchen next to the front lounge and a mid washroom in between the kitchen and rear bedroom.

The Unicorn benefits from four-season, all weather sustainability with the Alde radiator central heating system, a Truma 80-watt solar panel for off-grid holidays, stylish interiors featuring light oak furniture and a choice of two luxurious soft furnishing options and a Tracker Monitor system with integral intruder alarm.
